Aluminum Oxide White – Fine

White Alumina is a high purity fused aluminum oxide (also called White Fused Aluminum Oxide, WFA, or White Corundum).  This iron-free blasting medium is angular and very hard. It has a powerful abrasive effect on the surface being blasted.  It has a Mohs hardness of 9, which is only surpassed by diamonds.

White Fused Alumina is produced using the Bayer Process and then smelted by electric arc furnace using high quality Aluminum Oxide as raw material.
